So, we've updated the site again (hopefully for the better). We now have free downloads page for your listening pleasure, as well as expanded artist pages and a store for all of your purchasing needs. Please email Dave if you run across anything that isn't working and we'll send you some free stuff for your troubles. Oh, and we are also very excited to announce that we will begin sending out monthly newsletters full of exclusive tracks, promotions, free downloads, etc. to anyone who wishes to sign up.

Steve Elmore (Eight Hour Company guitarist/lady killer) has begun his trip into the 8-bit world of "NintendoCore." The band, Shy Guy, is beinning work on it's first series of songs about love, loss, and Princess Peach. Although no date has been set for their completion, Shy Guy is anticipated to be the most unique listening experience on AuxSable Records to date. Please keep checking back for more news on all of the AuxSable family.

Aux Sable Records Bands on Tour

Polymnia Nyx and Victorian Halls are setting up a mini-tour and they're talking to our friends Ryan's Hope, and Solar Electric who may be on tour with them. Shows at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, Illinois State University in Normal, and a venue TBA up north between 10/19 and 10/21. Also a Halloween show with the amazing Aux Sable Embers and Ryan's Hope is in the works for the Roadhouse Bar and Grill in Channahon. Don't forget that Polymnia's new Groove to This EP is going on sale at Waiting Room Records on North Street in Normal, IL, so if you can't make it to a show, at least head on down there and pick up a record!

New Eight Hour Company Track

Eight Hour Company has uploaded the demo of the first song off their upcoming EP Aesop Wouldn't Dare Dream This Big. The song is titled "Once, In the Old American Southwest..." and it's a powerhouse combination of harmonies and that Eight Hour Company sound you just can't live without. So go check it out on their myspace and tell them what you think!

Polymnia Nyx recorded three songs for their new record entitled "Groove to This EP" at ninetofive studios to be released at their show on the 17th. They turned out extremely well, and soon you'll be tapping your foot to their catchy choruses and solid beats.

Victorian Halls' new album entitled "SpringTeen" is set to be released on July 31st. Preview the single "Tsk Tsk (A Crush is a Crush)" on Victorian Halls' Myspace. Pre-order the new album at the Victorian Halls webstore and get the album a week before it comes out. It is amazing and you most certainly will not be disappointed. Electronic Rock trio Polymnia Nyx is hard at work turning their songs into a live spectacular in anticipation of their upcoming show on August 17. For details on the show, check out their tour schedule. Due to time constraints on the 17th, they'll be playing a three song power set but they'll be sure to blow your mind so don't miss it. They've also been working on new material conceived around the idea of RockBot, a rock and roll robot who is determined to bring back good music.

Songs are really coming together and although the album will be still be have that Eight Hour Company trademark sound, it is unlike anything we've ever created before. The Hallow have been recording the demo versions of the songs for their new EP entitled "Seven Liars In Wait". They're recording at 127 Riot Studios in Blue Island, IL. Drums were done this past Sunday, and more will be recorded over the next two weeks. Check out their myspace to hear new recordings when they're finished.

Victorian Halls Recording

Victorian Halls is in the studio recording new material at Gallery of Carpet Studios in Villa Park, IL for the next couple of weeks. Brian Zeiske (The Hush Sound, The Academy Is, The Audition) is producing the record. Five to Seven songs are expected to come out of this long awaited recording session. With titles like "Tsk Tsk" and "Go Razorbacks Go" we can't wait to hear what the boys have cooked up.
